The Bergseehütte is a mountain hut in the Angenstein section of the Swiss Alpine Club , in the canton of Uri ( Switzerland ). The hut, inaugurated in 1965, offers 70 beds and is manned from the beginning of June to mid-October in the summer season.
location
The hut is located at 2370 m above sea level. M. about 600 m above the Göscheneralpsee . A few minutes from the hut is the eponymous mountain lake. The most prominent peak is the Bergseeschijen in the north. The hut offers a wide panoramic view of the Göschenental, the Dammagletscher and the south face of the Bergseeschijens, popular with climbers.
Approach
With the Postbus every hour from Göschenen to the final stop Hotel Dammagletscher at the dam of the Göscheneralpsee. There is also a paid car park there. Continue on a hiking trail of difficulty T2 to the hut in 1½ hours .
In winter, access is only possible with skis.
