Bernd Schuh

Bernd Schuh (* 1948 ) is a German physicist, lecturer, scientist and consultant as well as author and presenter for television and print media, known from the radio programs of Deutschlandfunk and WDR.

Life

Schuh studied mathematics, physics and chemistry in Cologne, received his doctorate in 1977 and qualified as a professor in physics in 1982. He worked as a scientist and lecturer at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Cologne and the University of California in San Diego. He then became a science editor for radio, television and various magazines. Between 2000 and 2013, Schuh was the sole author of 24 programs Wissenschaft im Brennpunkt on Deutschlandfunk, the more detailed program on a single topic in the series Research Current .
