Bo Ragnar Ericson (born January 23, 1958 in Stockholm ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player . His son Fredrik Ericson is also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

Bo Ericson began his career as an ice hockey player at AIK Solna , for whose professional team he was active from 1974 to 1984 - first in Division 1 and then from the 1975/76 season in the successor league Elitserien . With AIK he won the Swedish championship title in the 1981/82 and 1983/84 seasons . For the 1984/85 season , the defender moved within the Elitserien to Södertälje SK , with which he was also Swedish champion straight away. Following the 1988/89 season, he ended his career with Södertälje SK at the age of 31.

International

For Sweden , Ericson took part in the junior division at the U19 European Junior Championships in 1976 and the U20 World Junior Championships in 1977 and 1978 . At the U19 European Championship in 1976 and the U20 World Cup in 1978, he and his team won the silver medal.

In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 1983 and 1985 World Championships and at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . He also competed for Sweden in the Canada Cup in 1984 . At the 1984 Winter Games, he and his team won the bronze medal.
