Post mill Ostingersleben

The Ostingersleben post mill is a post mill on a hill north of the village of Ostingersleben, which belongs to the municipality of Ingersleben .

According to an inscription, the mill in the northern extension of Keindorfstrasse dates back to 1783. It was in operation until the 1970s and was then shut down. From 1983 the outer skin was repaired. Originally the windmill had Venetian blinds. In the 1980s these were converted for sails. The historical mill technology with roller mill , bag lift, grinding and grist pass, as well as cleaning have been preserved. The hammer and stone beams are carved and the inscription Johann Heinrich Häberlien / Maria Dorotea Häberlien Geb Luckmann Anno 1818 .
