The Bogotá Half Marathon ( Spanish Media Maratón de Bogotá ) is a half marathon in Bogotá that has been taking place since 2000 in late July or early August. It is one of the most important road races in the world. Including the 10 km sub-competition, over 45,000 runners crossed the finish line in 2009.

The flat course begins in the Plaza de Bolivar, describes an arc in the north of the city and ends in the Parque Metropolitano Simón Bolívar. The relatively slow times compared to events with a similar amount of money are due to the extreme altitude of Bogotá ( 2640  m ).
