Bommanahalli ( Kannada : ಬೊಮ್ಮನಹಳ್ಳಿ Bommanahaḷḷi ) is a district of Bangalore in the southern Indian state of Karnataka .

Bommanahalli is around 12 kilometers south of downtown Bangalore. In the course of the city expansion of Bangalore in 2007, Bommanahalli was incorporated into Bangalore. Today, Bommanahalli forms one of 198 districts ( wards ) of Bangalore in the narrower sense . It has an area of ​​1.8 square kilometers and 43,585 inhabitants. The Bommanahalli zone, one of eight zones into which Bangalore is divided, includes a total of 16 districts in southern Bangalore.
