Eight-year-old Graeme Thorne was kidnapped after his parents won a huge amount in an opera house lottery , and a ransom demand was made by the perpetrator (Stephan Leslie Bradley), who lives in Clontarf , a suburb of Sydney, Australia . There was a large-scale manhunt involving Australian troops. However, on August 16, 1960, Graeme was found murdered.
