Bota Sot ( German : The World Today ) is a Kosovo - Albanian daily newspaper with editorial headquarters in Zollikerberg , Pristina and New York , which was founded on June 26, 1995th It appears in Kosovo, Switzerland, some other European countries and the United States. With a circulation of 70,000 to 120,000 copies, it is one of the highest-circulation newspapers in Kosovo. 7,000 copies of the newspaper are sold in Switzerland every day. The editor-in-chief is Xhevdet Mazrekaj.

The newspaper is considered to be nationalistic in its orientation; She has been accused of making racist or xenophobic statements several times, including by the OSCE , and has repeatedly been sentenced to fines. In 2001, for example, the Swiss Federal Police Office investigated violations of the Anti-Racism Act. The proceedings were closed in 2002. In October 2002 Bota Sot informed Sot in a press release that the editorial offices in Zurich had narrowly escaped an attack by a package bomb.
