Bradley "Brad" Jacobs  (born June 11, 1985 in Sault Ste. Marie , Ontario ) is a Canadian curler and Olympic champion . He plays the skip position.

Career

Jacobs won the Canadian Championship The Brier for Northern Ontario in 2013 by beating the team from the province of Manitoba around Skip Jeff Stoughton . With his team (third: Ryan Fry , second: EJ Harnden , lead: Ryan Harnden ), Jacobs then represented Canada at the 2013 World Cup in Victoria , British Columbia . There he succeeded after a semi-final victory against the Scots around David Murdoch the entry into the final, which he lost to the Swedish team of Niklas Edin .

In the same year he won the Canadian selection competition for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , after remaining undefeated in the Round Robin and beating the British Columbia team of John Morris in the final. In Sochi, the Canadian team beat the Chinese around Skip Liu Rui in the semi-finals and won the gold medal after beating Great Britain (Skip: David Murdoch) in the final.

Jacobs plays with his team on the World Curling Tour and has won several competitions.
