Braidbach is a church village in Besengau and a district of Bastheim in the Lower Franconian district of Rhön-Grabfeld . It is located on the Franconian Marienweg .

history
Braidbach was the smallest community in the former Wechterswinkel monastery and was first mentioned in a document in 1161.
On January 1, 1972, the previously independent community was incorporated into Bastheim.
Culture
The small village church of St. Ulrich was built in 1715 (year above the portal) and used to be a regional pilgrimage church . The sacristy probably dates from the Middle Ages.

economy
