Brent Cross is an above-ground London Underground station in the London Borough of Barnet . It is located in TfL tariff zone 3 on Highfield Avenue. In 2013, 2.14 million passengers used this station served by the Northern Line .

The station opened on November 19, 1923 under the name Brent (originally the name Woodstock was intended). After the construction of the nearby Brent Cross shopping center in the immediate vicinity, the station was renamed accordingly on July 20, 1976.
