Bruno Stamer

Bruno Stamer (born February 12, 1900 in Altona ; † July 17, 1988 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending elementary school, Stamer completed an apprenticeship in lithography from April 1914 to March 1918. He also attended the arts and crafts school. From June 1918 Stamer took part in the First World War with the mine thrower battalion No. 6 . After the war he was a member of the People's and Reichswehr until May 1920.

During the 1920s, Stamer made a living as a manual worker. In 1928 he became a city councilor in Altona and in 1929 a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Provincial Parliament . In the NSDAP , which he joined at that time, he became head of the district operations cell.

In the Reichstag elections of March 1933 , he was a candidate of the Nazi Party for the constituency 13 (Schleswig-Holstein) in the Reichstag elected. After his mandate was confirmed in November 1933, he was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag until March 1936. The most important parliamentary event in which he was involved during his time as a member of parliament was the passing of the Enabling Act , which was passed, among other things, with his vote.

In the Reichstag election on March 29, 1936, Stamer ran again as district administrator of the DAS, but this time received no more mandate.

After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists, Stamer became regional chairman north of the NSDAP and district leader of the German Labor Front as well as an unpaid senator in the Altona magistrate.
