Bruno Zuculini (born April 2, 1993 in Belén de Escobar ) is an Argentine football player of Italian descent who currently plays for River Plate .
Career
At the age of 16 he made his debut in the first team of the Racing Club in the 0-1 defeat by Gimnasia La Plata in the Argentine Primera Division . In the 2012/13 season, after the departure of Giovanni Moreno and Lucas Nahuel Castro , he played regularly for Avellaneda.
On July 23, 2014, zuculini scored the first goal of the game in a preparation game against Sporting Kansas City . Manchester City confirmed the transfer of the Argentine on August 8, 2014. He was assigned the number 36. Zuculini is the fourth Argentine to sign a contract with the Premier League club.
Manchester City loaned zuculini to La Liga club Valencia CF on August 19, 2014 for a period of one year. After only half a year and 45 minutes of work for Los Che , his loan contract was terminated on January 30, 2015.
Only hours after the contract was terminated, zuculini was loaned to Córdoba FC until the end of June . Cordoba was relegated to the Segunda Division at the end of the season. Zuculini was voted “Worst Team of the Season” by the Spanish magazine Marca .
Zuculini returned to Manchester for the 2015/16 season, but did not get a chance. At the end of October 2015 he moved to Middlesbrough FC on loan for a month . The loan was extended on November 25, 2015 to January 2, 2016.
After the loan ended, Zuculini returned to Manchester at the beginning of January 2016, but was again not used. On February 1, 2016, Zuculini moved to AEK Athens in the Greek Super League until the end of the 2015/16 season . After only 22 days and three positive appearances (two league games and a cup game), his Greek career came to an early end after he suffered a metatarsal fracture in training and was out until the end of the season.
After another loan to Rayo Vallecano in the summer of 2016 changed Zuculini in January 2017. Italian second division club Hellas Verona , with his promotion to the Serie A managed.
In January 2018, Zuculini moved to the Argentine record champions River Plate .
Personal
Zuculini's brother Franco is also a soccer player and, like Bruno, also plays in midfield. Both began their first footballing steps at the Racing Club, where the two played together in 2011. Since January 2017 both have been playing together for Hellas Verona .
