The Bucerius Law Journal ( BLJ ) is an online legal journal published by students and graduates of the Bucerius Law School . It is based on the model of US law reviews , i.e. legal journals that are published by students.

The editorial team is supported by a scientific advisory board made up of professors, currently Anne Röthel (private law), Michael Fehling (public law) and Frank Saliger (criminal law).

The Bucerius Law Journal publishes articles by professors, academic staff and practitioners. Students are given the opportunity to revise their work proposed for publication by supervising professors and to publish them as articles in the Bucerius Law Journal.

The Bucerius Law Journal appears twice a year in printed version with a print run of 500. A free PDF file is available on the website.

The BLJ is headed by two editors-in-chief who are elected every two years.
