The Federation for People and Homeland (BVH) was a right-wing conservative political organization in Switzerland that is part of the front movement .
history
In March 1933 the Bund für Volk und Heimat was founded in Langenthal .
However, at the end of 1933 a split occurred when some members began to sympathize with National Socialism.
At the end of June 1936, the BVH dissolved and recommended its members to join the Swiss Patriotic Association .
Political orientation
The BVH saw itself as a patriotic association of like-minded people who wanted to defend Swiss federalism , economic liberalism , Christian values and democracy.
The BVH fought against Bolshevism , the trade unions and parliamentarism.
