Bunderhee ( Low German : Bunnerhee ) is a village in the East Frisian Rheiderland between the places Bunde and Ditzumerverlaat . Bunderhee belongs to the municipality of Bunde .

landscape

Bunderhee part of the march and is on polder area and partial areas of Hamm Rich in Rheiderland. These two areas were previously separated by a dike . When this was no longer needed because the dyke line was moved forward, it was removed and replaced by Deichstraße.

Culture and history

Bunderhee is known for the stone house , a medieval warehouse and defense building that was built around 1400 and was the seat of the chief . This makes it one of the oldest buildings in East Friesland and shows something about the history of the Rheiderland and especially about Bunderhee. From 1978 to 2002 the Steinhaus was the seat of the North German Organ Academy under the direction of Harald Vogel . It was renovated in 2010–2011.
