City theater and tribunal are other buildings from this period. The buildings in Complexul Episcopal (bishop's seat) are older, they date from the 17th – 19th centuries. Century: The Episcopal Church, the Prince's Palace and the Theological Seminary . In the Strada Cuza Voda , the pedestrian zone of Buzău in the heart of the old town, there are still some remarkable houses from the 19th century. The large, very beautiful "Crâng" landscape park borders directly on Buzau. About 20 kilometers northwest of Buzău, near the village of Berca, are the Berca mud volcanoes , one of the most exotic natural sights in Europe.
