- The light green young leaves are almost hairless.
- The medium-sized leaves are three-lobed and narrowly curved. The stem bay is open in a U-shape. The sheet is serrated to a point. The leaf surface, also known as the leaf blade, is blistered and coarse.
- The cylindrical to conical grape is sometimes shouldered, large (on average 270 g) and quite dense. The slightly elongated berries are medium-sized (they weigh an average of 2.3 g) with a bluish-purple color and are very tannic.
Maturation: late - matures under comparable conditions approx. 25 - 28 days after the ' Gutedel '.
Wine
The red wines produced are dark in color and very rich in tannins . In addition to good red wines , they also produce fine and balanced rosé wines .
