The Carice MK1 is a roadster from the Dutch car manufacturer Carice Cars from Delft . The vehicle was presented in 2013 at the Techno-Classica in Essen . It looks like a classic car but is powered by an electric motor. The car looks very similar to the Porsche 356 Spyder. According to the manufacturer, a production of ten copies is initially planned, which are available from 26,620 euros. In 2013, first place was achieved in an innovation competition organized by the Dutch Rabobank .
body
The body is made entirely of plastic , which has resulted in a weight saving. The MK1, including the battery pack, has a total weight of around 350 kilograms.
Electric motor
The Carice MK1 is available in different performance variants:
- Junior version with 4.0 kW for drivers aged 16 and over
- 15 kW with a small battery pack
- 40 kW with a small battery pack and range extender , top speed 100 km / h
- 40 kW with a large battery pack, top speed of 100 km / h and 200 km range
Each vehicle is built according to individual customer requirements. All variants are equipped with a lithium-ion battery , which can be charged in around two hours. The range is approximately 100 kilometers. In addition, a standing cylinder - petrol engine as a range extender on offer, as well as one's hydrogen-powered planned. A simple convertible top for the roadster is available on request.
