Carlos Collado Seidel

Carlos Collado Seidel (* 1966 ) is a German - Spanish historian and author of several works on the history of Spain .

Life

Collado Seidel studied modern and contemporary history , social and economic history and political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the Complutense University in Madrid . In 1998 he received his doctorate in Munich. In 2005 he received his habilitation for modern history at the Philipps University of Marburg . Since then he has been teaching there as a private lecturer or adjunct professor . In 2010/11, Collado Seidel was Martin Baumeister's chair for 19th and 20th century European history at LMU Munich .

Collado Seidel is a member of the PEN Center Germany and was its General Secretary from April 2017 to May 2019.
