The Casey Point is a schmalgratiger rocky outcrop in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It looms between the Sheraton Glacier and the Arriens Glacier in Mawson Escarpment .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) in 1956, 1960 and 1973. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after John Newbery Casey (* 1927), Deputy Director of the Mineral Resources Bureau, Geology and Geophysics of the Ministry of Minerals and Energy of Australia in Canberra .
