Cegléd [ ˈtsɛɡleːd ] is a Hungarian city in the district of the same name in Pest County .
Geographical location
Cegléd is located almost 70 kilometers southeast of the capital Budapest . Neighboring communities are Ceglédbercel , Törtel , Abony , Nagykőrös and Tápiószele .
history
Cegléd was first mentioned in 1290 during the reign of King Ladislaus IV .
Cityscape
The architecture of the city, which is mainly known for its spa offers, is diverse. In addition to buildings in the classicist and sacred buildings in the Romanesque - Gothic style, there are also buildings from the Neo-Baroque .
