Cem İslamoğlu (born September 4, 1980 in Haiger ) is a Turkish football player and coach .

Career

İslamoğlu is a trained car mechanic who was born in Haiger , Hesse , and grew up in Holzhausen (Burbach) in Siegerland . He played as a defender from 1992 to 2008 for Sportfreunde Siegen . Before that he was with the youth team at VfB Burbach . İslamoğlu was involved in promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga (2005/06) under the then coach Ralf Loose .

İslamoğlu negotiated several times with Turkish first division clubs. However, no contract was concluded. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season, İslamoğlu moved to the regional division SV Elversberg . For the 2010/11 season , the path then led him to the Regionalliga Süd to SV Darmstadt 98 , with whom he became champion and rose to the 3rd division.

For the 2013/14 season, İslamoğlu moved to the regional division SV Waldhof Mannheim . In January 2015 he joined the state division TuS Rüssingen , where he stayed for a year and a half. In the summer of 2016, he moved to the district division SV Südwest Ludwigshafen . He has been there since then as a player-coach.

Success as a player

  • 2005: Promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga (with Sportfreunde Siegen)
  • 2011: Champion of the Regionalliga Süd, promotion to the 3rd division (with SV Darmstadt 98)
