Christopher "Chris" Grossman (born March 6, 1987 in Brisbane ) is an Australian football player .

Career

Grossman received a professional contract with the A-League team Queensland Roar in 2006 after attending the Australian Institute of Sport . In his three years at the club from his hometown Brisbane, the midfielder only made seven appearances, and his eleven goals for the youth team in the National Youth League in 2008/09 ( second best goalscorer behind Francesco Monterosso from Adelaide) did not help him to break through in the professional team.

In December 2008 he signed with the expansion team North Queensland Fury for the 2009/10 season , where he hoped for more playing time.

In 2006, Grossman took part as a regular player with the Australian U-20 selection at the U-19 Asian Cup in India. His only tournament goal he succeeded in the quarterfinals in the 1: 2 defeat by South Korea, which the Australian team missed the qualification for the U-20 World Cup.
