Chris Moore
Chris Moore is an American film producer and film director .
Life
Moore graduated from Harvard University . His films include the American Pie Trilogy and Good Will Hunting . Moore founded the production company LivePlanet with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as partners. He is best known to the public for his presence on the project Greenlight documentary series , for which he was nominated for an Emmy in 2002, 2004 and 2005 .
In 2009 he made his debut as a film director with the film Kill Theory . In the same year he was also involved as one of several directors on the documentary The People Speak .
In 2017 he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Picture for the drama Manchester by the Sea as a producer along with Matt Damon , Lauren Beck, Kimberly Steward and Kevin J. Walsh . The film also previously received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Motion Picture Drama .
