Chris Weitz
Christopher John "Chris" Weitz (born November 30, 1969 in New York , NY ) is an American screenwriter , director and producer . He is the younger brother of Paul Weitz .
biography
Chris Weitz was born in New York in 1969 to Susan Kohner and John Weitz . He studied at Trinity College in Cambridge , England .
American Pie - Like a Hot Apple Pie from 1999 was the first film he appeared in as a film producer. He was previously involved in the development of the screenplay for Antz . Hemade his directorial debutwith Once Heaven and Back from 2001. Further productions followed in all of his areas of activity. His work on About a Boy or: The Day of the Dead Duck earned him an Oscar nomination in2003for the Best Adapted Screenplay category.
