Christa Hauer-Fruhmann
Christa Hauer-Fruhmann (born March 13, 1925 in Vienna ; † March 21, 2013 in St. Pölten ) was an Austrian painter .
Life
Christa Hauer-Fruhmann is a daughter of Leopold Hauer . She married the painter Johann Fruhmann (1928–1985) in 1957 . Her grandfather was the art collector Franz Hauer (1867–1914).
She was initially under the artistic influence of her father, from 1960 she turned to action painting . Later on, cosmic forms and the turning to nature determined her works. She campaigned for the concerns of women artists in special interest groups.
