Christfried Präger
Christfried Präger (born August 6, 1943 in Tetschen-Bodenbach ; † October 9, 2002 in Darmstadt ) was a German sculptor .
Life
Christfried Präger studied sculpture at the Werkkunstschule Darmstadt with Heinz Pfaender and life drawing with Fritz Schwarzbeck until 1966 . Präger also worked in the studio of the Darmstadt sculptor Georg von Kovats. From 1967 to 1969 he studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . He completed his studies in Vienna as a master student of Oswald Oberhuber and Fritz Wotruba . Präger, who moved to Darmstadt in 1962, lived in Darmstadt as a freelance artist after completing his studies in Vienna.
