Christian Lüthi

Christian Lüthi (* 1962 in Zofingen ) is a Swiss historian and librarian .

He studied history, geography and constitutional law at the University of Bern and has lived in Bern since 1983 . Christian Lüthi works in the library sector and as a freelance historian.

Lüthi published articles on the history of the city of Bern , of Zofingen , Thun and the canton of Bern . From 2007 to 2017 he was Head of Resources at the University Library of Bern , and since 2019 he has also been its Vice Director.

From 2007 to 2019 he was President of the Historical Association of the Canton of Bern.
