Christina Wayne

Christina Wayne (* in New York City ) is an American producer, screenwriter and film director.

Life and accomplishments

Wayne grew up in New York's Upper East Side and attended Columbia University until 1991 . She created music videos and commercials for Propaganda Films . She directed and wrote the screenplay of her first feature film, Tart - Jet Set Kids (2001). Dominique Swain played the lead role of an adolescent school girl in this youth film drama.

In 2005, Wayne worked as a programming consultant for the American cable television station AMC. In November 2005 she received the title of Vice President and leads AMC's film and series project development. As a result, she was Executive Producer of the 2006 Miniseries Broken Trail directed by Walter Hill . The TV western won u. a at the Primetime Emmy Awards 2007 in the categories of Best Miniseries , Best Leading Actor ( Robert Duvall ) and Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a TV Movie ( Thomas Haden Church ) and for the casting .
