Christoph Gumpp the Younger (born May 28, 1600 in Innsbruck ; † March 2, 1672 there ) was an Austrian court carpenter and court architect.

Gumpp was the son of the court carpenter Christoph Gumpp († 1623). Gumpp the Younger was appointed court architect by Archduchess Claudia in 1633 . He was responsible for the Wilten collegiate church (1651–1655) and the Mariahilfkirche (1647) in Innsbruck . He was already involved in the planning and construction of the Jesuit church at the age of 27. Furthermore, in 1629 he built an opera house on the site of today's Dogana (Congress House ). As a representative of the early Baroque era , Christoph built a rather austere building with smooth outer walls and straight lines. Some of his buildings still have elements of the Renaissance . Six of his children were also artists, including Johann Martin Gumpp the Elder and Johann Anton Gumpp .
