Lauenstein & Lauenstein

Christoph Lauenstein works with his twin brother Wolfgang Lauenstein in Hamburg. In their own animated film production Lauenstein & Lauenstein GbR they have been developing and producing animated commercials for international customers (for Nike, Coca-Cola, Smarties, Telekom, Tchibo, Saturn etc.) and short animated television productions since 1990. They specialize in the classic hand-made animation techniques claymation, stop trick and puppet trick.

For the feature film The Fall by Tarsem Singh , which premiered in 2006 , the brothers developed a 10-minute animation sequence.

Since 2007 the two brothers have specialized in the development and realization of full-length CGI animation film projects for the big screen. In addition to developing their own ideas and original materials, they also work as directors for their projects. In the years 2015 - 2018 the first two full-length films "Luis and the Aliens" and "The legendary four" were made. The Lauenstein brothers developed the idea for both projects, wrote the script and directed.
