Christopher Cazenove
Christopher Cazenove (born December 17, 1943 in Winchester , Hampshire , England , † April 7, 2010 in London ) was a British actor .
Life and work
Cazenove grew up in the British county of Hampshire. After attending the private schools Dargon School and Eton College and studying at Oxford University , he turned to acting.
In 1970 he made his debut as a television actor in a film adaptation of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar . In the following years he worked mainly in television productions. His best-known role was that of Ben Carrington in the American soap opera The Denver Clan , which he played for almost two years, 1986 and 1987.
Cazenove died on April 7, 2010 of complications from blood poisoning .
family
Cazenove was married to actress Angharad Rees from 1973 to 1994 . The marriage resulted in two sons, Linford (1974-1999) and Rhys (* 1976). Linford was killed in a car accident on the M11 in Essex . His partner, Isabel Davies, was at his side until his death.
