Claus Dittbrenner (born September 21, 1952 in Bremen ; † December 29, 2013 in Bremen) was a Bremen politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Bremen citizenship .

education and profession

Dittbrenner completed training as an administrative officer in Bremen and became an official inspector in 1971. He had been with the University of Bremen since 1974 and soon afterwards became Deputy Chairman of the Staff Council of the University of Bremen. After serving as a member of parliament, he was managing director of a consulting company until 2003 and from 2004 employed in the archive of the University of Bremen.

politics

Dittbrenner was a member of the SPD and from the end of the 1970s to the mid-1980s chairman of his SPD local club Blockdiek - Ellener Feld . In the 1970 / 80s he was chairman of the SPD working group for employee issues (AfA) in the SPD sub-district of Bremen-Ost.

From 1979 to 1999 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship for 20 years and was active in various deputations and committees of the citizenship, including from 1982 to 1987 as speaker of the building deputation. From 1983 to 1987 he was Deputy Chairman and from 1987 to 1995 SPD parliamentary group chairman and from 1987 to 1995 Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Control Commission. He was also represented in the deputations for sport and work. From 1995 to 1999 he held the position of Vice President of the Citizenship.

In 1988 he was interviewed by Klaus Wedemeier's Senate as a building senator. Due to various affairs, some of which were made public by party colleagues, he did not get a chance. Furthermore, he got into twilight through investigations in connection with a donation affair about the Bremen-based building contractor Zech .
