Clemens Bollen

Clemens Bollen (born February 12, 1948 in Langholt (district of Leer) ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from secondary school in 1965, Bollen trained as an industrial clerk until 1968 . He then worked as an employee in human resources at the Olympia -Werke in Leer until 1979 . There he was also deputy chairman of the works council and a member of the general works council . As a part-time job, he took part in further training in business administration from 1971 at the Administration and Business Academy , which he completed in 1974 as a business economist (VWA) . In 1977 Bollen passed the entrance examination for a university degree in economics as well as economics and politics at the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg , which he completed from 1979 to 1984. Bollen has been the first authorized representative of IG Metall Leer / Papenburg since 1980 .

Clemens Bollen is married and has a daughter. Long-distance running is one of his hobbies .

Political party

In 1976 he joined the SPD.

MP

After he was unable to win a direct mandate in the 2005 Bundestag election in the Unterems constituency , Clemens Bollen moved up to the German Bundestag on November 29, 2005 for the resigned MP Gerhard Schröder via the Lower Saxony state list . On September 25, 2008, Bollen declared that for health reasons he would not run again for a member of the Bundestag in the 2009 Bundestag election.
