Clint Johnston
Clint Johnston (also Clint Johnson , born March 31, 1915 in New York ; died December 9, 1975 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American screenwriter .
Life
Johnston first appeared as a screenwriter in the 1949 film Black Midnight . Budd Boetticher took over the direction . Up to and including 1967, five more film productions followed, some of which were based on his own literary models.
At the 1967 Academy Awards , Johnston and Don Peters were nominated for an Oscar in the Best Original Screenplay category for the screenplay for The Death Brave . The 1967 film Bloody Beach was Johnston's last production with which he appeared.
