In the overall ranking he reached fifth place.

Marshall made his first start in the World Cup on February 25, 2007 in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen slalom , but never qualified for the second run in the first races. He scored his first World Cup points on January 12, 2008 in the Wengen slalom , where he reached 19th place. This is also his best result in the Ski World Cup so far. For the second time he scored 23rd place in the Zagreb slalom on February 17, 2008. In the 2008/09 season he only won World Cup points once with a 21st place in the Zagreb slalom.
