Coly Seck

Coly Seck (born April 18, 1973 in Thiès ) is a Senegalese diplomat. He was President of the UN Human Rights Council in 2019 .

Life

Coly Seck was from November 2004 to December 2010 with the Mission of Senegal at the United Nations Headquarters in New York responsible for politics, disarmament, peace and international security. From January 2011 to January 2012 he was Head of the Cabinet of the Senegalese Foreign Minister and Director of the Africa / Asia Department in the same ministry. From February 2012 to October 2012 he was Director for International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Coly Seck has been director of the Senegalese foreign minister's cabinet since November 2012. He has been Senegal's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the European Office of the United Nations since October 2016.

He is the father of three children.
