Cowboys vs. Dinosaurs is an American science fiction film of director Ari Novak from the year 2015 .
action
In a small American town, an iridium mine was blown to open a cave in which dinosaurs lived. The dinosaurs kill several miners, only Quaid escapes, but nobody believes his story. When he later kills one of the dinosaurs and comes into town with the carcass, the mine owner Marcus and Sheriff Henry try to suppress the truth.
As more and more dinosaurs invade the city and kill the residents, the survivors hide in a pub. The scientist Dr. Sinclair explains to them that the dinosaurs' blood contains methane because of their life in the underground cave , which is why they can be killed with fire.
Val, a former rodeo rider , and his ex-girlfriend Sky, who is now in a relationship with the sheriff, were able to flee the city, but return to save the other residents. Together with Quaid and Jenny, they succeed in luring the dinosaurs out of the city and killing them.
When Val and Sky fall into the arms at the end of the film, breaks out of the earth a pterodactyl out.
