Dětenice (German Jettenitz ) is a village in the Okres Jičín in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers west of Libáň on the border with the Mladá Boleslav and Nymburk districts .
history
The first written mention comes from the year 1052, however excavations indicate a settlement in the period of the Neolithic . Older development is in the center of the village. New buildings that disturb the character of the landscape can be found in the Osenice district.
