GDR best determination in women's football

The GDR best determination in women's football was the championship in women's football in the GDR . The record champion was the BSG Turbine Potsdam .

Women's football was not an Olympic sport at the time. Thus, the championship was decided from 1979 by a best determination. Four teams qualified for this in the first year, and later five teams. The best teams were determined through elimination tournaments in the respective GDR districts.
