The DRW-Verlag Weinbrenner GmbH & Co. KG is a German publishing house based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen , which is part of the group Weinbrenner.
history
Karl Weinbrenner († 1940) laid the foundation stone for the German timber trade in 1874 for what is now an international media company. The flagship of the specialist publisher is the Holz-Zentralblatt . The Swabian family company was run by Karl-Heinz Weinbrenner (1942–2013) and his daughter Claudia Weinbrenner-Seibt in the third and fourth generation until his death.

The publisher is the publisher of various specialist journals as well as specialist books and calendars.
Trade journals
The Holz-Zentralblatt is a trade journal for entrepreneurs and managers in the forestry and wood industry. It reports on the wood market, machines and tools used in woodworking, the results of wood research and developments in woodworking. B + H Bauen und Holz as a magazine for the timber trade and the hardware store appears six times a year as a supplement to the Holz-Zentralblatt .
HK Holz- und Kunststoffverarbeitung appears six times a year as a magazine for entrepreneurs and executives in the wood and furniture industry.
Exakt is a trade journal for the woodworking trade in Germany that appears nine times a year. It is aimed at carpenters / joiners and those involved in interior design and assembly.
The magazines Laminate , Holzbau , Doors , Design + Beschlag , Surface , MDF / HWS and Veneer appear once a year .

G. Braun book publisher
From 2001 to 2011 the Karlsruhe-based G. Braun Buchverlag belonged to DRW-Verlag. The publishing program of G. Braun Buchverlag has always included topics about regional, cultural and historical issues from Baden . During this time, books on topics from Baden continued to come onto the market under the G. Braun Buchverlag publishing label.
Topics about the culture and history of Baden-Württemberg
The DRW-Verlag also published books on the culture and history of the old state and the Württemberg region and Baden-Württemberg in the years in which G. Braun Buchverlag belonged to it from 2001 to 2011, although they were outwardly similar or identical as books operated directly from the DRW publishing house. This publishing program with books on leisure, the region, culture and history from Baden-Württemberg was given up again in 2011 by DRW Verlag with the sale of G. Braun Buchverlag to Schlütersche Verlagsgesellschaft .
