Dan Jones (born July 27, 1981 in Reading ) is a British writer and journalist.

Life

Dan Jones is a relative of the British politician Alun Jones . He attended the Royal Latin School in Buckingham and studied history with David Starkey at Pembroke College , University of Cambridge .

Jones is a columnist for the London Evening Standard , where he writes on sports topics. He writes features in the English quality newspapers.

Jones writes books and produces multi-part television programs on British history in the Middle Ages and early modern times.
