Daniel Burger

Daniel Burger (* 1971 in Weißenburg in Bavaria ) is a German archivist and historian with a focus on national history , archeology and building history .

Life

Daniel Burger was born in Weißenburg in Bavaria in 1971. He studied history and German at the Catholic University in Eichstätt , where he received his doctorate in 1999. He worked at the Germanisches Nationalmuseum from 2000 to 2002 , was an archive trainee at the Bavarian Archive School in Munich from 2003 to 2005, then worked as an archivist at the Munich State Archive , has been at the Nuremberg State Archive since 2009 and temporarily in the Bamberg and Amberg State Archives. He is the author of numerous publications on castles and fortresses. He also creates articles for the Historical Lexicon of Bavaria .
