Daniele Patumi

Daniele Patumi (* 1956 in Umbria ) is an Italian double bass player of modern jazz and European art music .

Patumi studied at the Perugia Music Academy until 1979 , but already appeared in 1978 at the European premiere of Ernst Krenek's Duo for flute, double bass and tape at the Siena Music Week . He gave solo concerts at the festivals in Bolzano , Umbria, Lucerne , Willisau and Cesena and worked with symphony and chamber orchestras . In 1984 he took part in the performance of the opera "I Delfini della Montagna" by Paolo Liberati . He has been part of the “Pago Libre” group from 1989 to 2003 and is also involved in other projects by John Wolf Brennan . He is also a member of Roberto Laneri's ensemble “Memory” and Umberto Petrin's “WirrWarr”. He is also a member of Pino Minafra's “Sud Ensemble” . He was part of the “Nexus” ensemble with Gianluigi Trovesi , Tiziano Tononi and Herb Robertson . Patumi also toured with Burhan Öçal , Alex Cline , Gabriele Hasler , Corin Curschellas , Steve Argüelles , Bernd Konrad , Lindsay Cooper , Robert Dick , the Italian Unabile Orchestra and Brigitte Schär .
