David Carabott (born May 18, 1968 ) is a former Maltese football player of Australian descent who has been a coach for the Maltese club FC Marsa since 2014 .

The former defender is Malta's record player with 121 international appearances, scoring 13 goals between 1987 and 2005.

Carabott played for Hibernians FC Paola , Valletta FC , Marsaxlokk FC , Għajnsielem FC and Msida St. Joseph . From 2006 until his retirement in 2007 he was under contract with Sliema Wanderers . In the seasons 1993/94 , 1994/95 and 2000/01 he was able to win the Maltese championship with his team.
