Davide Lanzafame (born February 9, 1987 in Turin ) is an Italian football player . He is a striker and has played for the Hungarian club Ferencváros Budapest since 2018 .

Career

Davide Lanzafame comes from the youth department of Juventus Turin, he made his debut in the professional team on June 3, 2007 in the away game against AS Bari , when he came on in the 78th minute for Marcelo Zalayeta . In the 2007/08 season Lanzafame played on loan to AS Bari, where he was a regular player under coach Antonio Conte as a striker or as a winger and scored ten goals.

In the summer of 2008, US Palermo bought 50% of its transfer rights for two and a half million euros , which is why Lanzafame ran up for the Sicilian club in Serie A in the 2008/09 season. For the second half of the 2008/09 season he was loaned from Palermo to AS Bari in Serie B , where he was a regular under coach Antonio Conte and made the Serie A promotion with the team.

In June 2009, Lanzafame's transfer deal between Juventus and Palermo was extended by one year. Then Palermo loaned him for the 2009/10 season to Serie A promoted FC Parma . Lanzafame scored his first goal for Parma on November 8, 2009 in a 2-0 win over AC Chievo Verona . On May 9 of the following year, the striker scored his first double in Serie A in a 3-2 away win at Juventus Turin. A week later he repeated this hit against AS Livorno . For Parma FC, coached by Francesco Guidolin , Davide Lanzafame played 27 Serie A games in 2009/10, in which he scored seven goals. The striker reached eighth place in Italy's top division with the Emilian club.

For the 2010/11 season , Juventus and Palermo extended the joint ownership business and agreed Lanzafame's return to Turin. In a friendly against Hamburger SV , he made negative headlines by fouling midfielder Zé Roberto so badly that he was out for a long time.

Other clubs in Italy followed and he has been playing in Hungary since 2016 . For Honvéd Budapest he scored a total of 29 goals in two seasons and was able to celebrate the championship in 2017 and in 2018 was Nemzeti Bajnokság's top scorer with 18 goals . In the summer of 2018, he moved on to city rivals Ferencváros Budapest for € 700,000 .
