Deborah Adair Miller (born May 23, 1952 in Lynchburg , Virginia ) is an American actress .

Life

The daughter of a Navy officer and an English teacher made her television debut as Jill Foster in 1980 on the soap opera Shadow of Passion . After leaving in 1983, she took on a leading role in the Denver clan . She played there for a year, in 21 episodes, the role of Tracy Kendall. In 1988 she played a bigger role in the film Lincoln and in 1990 in Siren 1 . She has also appeared in numerous series, including Love Boat , Matt Houston , Murder is Her Hobby , Miami Vice , MacGyver , Hotel , California Clan , Melrose Place and 23 episodes in Maxwell Agency . For her role in the soap opera Zeit der Sehnsucht , in which she played Kate Roberts from 1993 to 1995, she received the 1994 Soap Opera Digest Award .

Deborah Adair was married to Gary Baker from 1974 to 1978 . She has been married to producer Chip Hayes since 1987 . The couple have two children together.
