Disintegration
Under disintegration refers to the resolution of a social cohesion within a group, which in social change , in particular the modernization , is obtained. States , societies , social classes or communities such as families can be affected by disintegration . Disintegration leads to disorientation in the affected groups and individuals, which, according to Wilhelm Heitmeyer's theories of disintegration, is a major cause of the development of violence . A well-known example of the disintegration of a state is the collapse of the Soviet Union , which led to the formation of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 1991 .
