Langemann played almost 200 games for the KEC in the Bundesliga in his career. He scored 71 goals and made 86 assists. In addition, there are around 400 missions for the KEK with around 200 goals. Despite strong performances over the years, he never came to a game for the national team for professional reasons.

After his active career, he stayed with the Haien and worked as a trainer in the junior division. In 1983 he was third in the championship with the KEC Juniors, with whom Uwe Krupp was playing at the time . He also founded the club's traditional team with other former KEC professionals, in which he still occasionally plays today. On November 22, 2011 his number # 14 was blocked by the Kölner Haien and his jersey was pulled under the roof of the Lanxess Arena as part of the derby against the DEG Metro Stars .
